What not to do
Taking care of your thermos bottle is important to avoid cracks and corrosion as well as destroying the liner over time.
- Avoid putting your bottle into the dishwasher. The strong detergent and washing process will cause damage to it.
- Avoid using strong abrasives that can possibly scratch your bottle or damage the liner.
- Bleach is also a detergent you should avoid using as it can damage the thermos.
To keep your thermos in good condition and avoid stains, you should clean it out immediately after each use. Whether you use your thermos to store coffee, other hot beverages, cold beverages or even soups, you need to rinse it out fast. Leaving the liquids in for long periods of time will cause stains. Remember to always be gentle when cleaning your thermos to prevent scratching and cracking. Take special care of the liner so that your thermos can last a long time.
